Building success together
We are incredibly proud of our students who have earned their diplomas and started their own shops with repair workshops!
Recently, in 2024, we opened Nimesh’s store in Panadura. Nimesh is a young man who suffered a severe accident, spending a year and a half in hospital and an Ayurvedic treatment center for recovery. He lived at Hellabeem for several years, where he received vocational education, physiotherapy, and primary education, as he was unable to attend school for a period due to his accident. Losing an eye no longer holds him back from walking confidently.
We were also delighted to meet our former student Kasun, who earlier this year, in May, opened a “Mobile Phone Shop” in Panadura. The shop is small but provides enough space for his business to thrive.
In total, we have now opened nearly 50 stores, and many others have found employment in various jobs.
